The New Self-Addressed

As you can now see, our NEW site is up!! We are so excited to have a new look. We will be offering many new and exciting things, so make sure you check back often.

As with any site launch, we will have to tweak the site over the next week to iron out any problems or glitches. One major difference you may notice is the MESSAGE BOARD link is now linking to the BLOG. Please know, this will be fixed as soon as we can. We hope to have the site "up to par" by the beginning of next week.

Greetings!

We are writing to inform our customers of a Product Delay we are experiencing with our October kits.

The Daisy D's Rub On Runners have been delayed by the manufactuer. We were informed today these have been over sold and the company is awaiting a shipment this week. Unfortunately, after being promised our shipment on time, we are now at the mercy of the product arrival.

We apologize for this inconvience. Please know, as of last week, all merchandise was on time. Our kits were scheduled to leave here Friday. We constantly make verification phone calls to confirm the shipment dates of our products to us from the manufacturers so we can inform you of the kit shipment dates. Unfortunately, this month we were misinformed by the manufacturer.

Daisy D's has promised these runners to us by October 12th. We will do everything possible to package the kits as fast as we can upon arrival of the Rubons. Please know, if anything changes on this we will keep you informed.

As a sign of appreciation for your understanding and patience, each October Kit will contain a Gift Certificate for you to use at your leisure in our Scraps and Bits Store.

Fall AT LAST

I love EVERYTHING about this season. I love the trees, the leaves, the colors, the foods, the cool weather, and the holidays!! What better way to share this season with the world than to put a little of it in our October Kit.

This kit features two NEW lines by Basic Grey, Recess and Mellow. These lines are completely different, but equally AWESOME! It is like getting TWO kits in ONE! The colors are a perfect representation of this season. The patterns are a perfect reason to get out your autumn, school, and unfinished pictures out AND SCRAP!!

This week I will be sharing a few of my creations done with this kit. Stay Tuned!!

Sketch a Bit

I love sketches. Sketches for layouts, sketches for cards-I love them all. They give such a a great way jumpstart to the creative process.

Each month, our newsletter features a Card Sketch and several samples by our Design Team. In our Mid month newsletter you can see the same sketch used in layouts and altered projects in our Stretch A Sketch section. If you do not already recieve our newsletters, sign up today. Simply click on Kit Ideas from our home page and fill in the information in the white box.

I would like to thank you for your patience as we work through our message board issues. Unfortunately, the message board section of our site was hacked last week. Although this has been very damaging to our MB and gallery, NO SENSITIVE CUSTOMER INFORMATION has been compromised. We do not store ANY of our members information on our website. The security of your confidentiality and personal information is always our first priority.

Due to the time it is taking to repair and restore the site, our Kit Ideas and Newsletter are slightly delayed this month. The Kit Ideas will be updated as soon as possible. We will have the newsletter out by this weekend. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Tonight at 9:30 pm EST- We will be creating a Post Card Mini Album from the July SA Kit. This is a unique, simple, and quick way to document an entire event-from pics to journaling in just 1 HOUR! This is a step by step class complete with pictures.

To join in the fun, log onto our Message Board/Forum and click on Classes. Find the Post Cards Album Thread and you are all set.

Can't make the class on time-no worries! We keep the classes up for a period of time for those who can't make the scheduled class.

Back from CHA, Chicago

I love new scrapbooking products. I love to look over each little thing, ooh and ahh over the gorgeous papers, touch and feel the embellishments, and daydream of what goodies we will get for our future kits. CHA is my heaven. I love the excitement that comes along with it. The exhibitors are so excited to share their new designs-The retailers are so giddy to see it all!

I am so excited to begin planning our kits for the next few months. We are thrilled to be doing 2 BRAND NEW lines in our September kit. This will be a favorite of mine ;) A little Crate anyone?

After browsing the new releases, we have also ordered several new lines to offer as Mini-Kits. So much great stuff-so little time.

If you have seen something new and would like to see it in one of our upcoming kits, please let us know.

In LOVE with this Design Team

I think my favorite time of each month is when I see the DT's ideas go up on the site. I get so excited to share their creations with everyone. It always reminds me how BLESSED we are to have such an amazingly talented group of women here.
I love putting together these kits. It is such fun picking out coordinating products, papers, ribbons, and goodies each month. The best and most rewarding part is deadline day, when our DT sends in their projects. I am ALWAYS get giddy when I hit my Send/Receive button and see my computer uploading large messages (it takes a while when there are pics). I know it is someone's projects coming in. I love to scroll down and see what they have come up with. It is funny-I invision projects, cards, or pages every time we are putting the kit together. But when the girls get their creations in to me....I am ALWAYS blown away. They never stop taking it to then next level.
I am thankful to ALL OF YOU LADIES for making my "job" so rewarding and fun. It is such a fantastic thing to be able to share a piece of your creative minds. Cheers to all of you!!

Out With the Old

We have decided to put our old SA Collections. These are so packed and full of fun product-I don't want them sitting here unused.

For those of you who aren't familiary with our SA Collections-each month we choose a brand new line from a different company. We put together the ENTIRE LINE into one collection of product. Purple Onion Designs creates and awesome stamp to go with the line and VIOLA...the SA Collection!
Right now we have Crate Spring Collection, Murray Hill by Center City Designs, Palazzo by Paper Salon, and the KI Color Theory Green.
